After dealing with three monster snowstorms from late January through February, trainers from the region are anxious to unleash their crop of 2010 jumpers as they prep for Maryland's premiere jump races in the coming weeks. Brandywine Point-to-Point race director Carl "Bunny" Meister expects a strong field of horses for the Easter Day races.

For race-goers tickets are available to the "All Are Welcome Brunch" that kicks off at 11:30 a.m. This year children's activities have multiplied like bunnies: an Easter Parade led by the Bunny himself, an egg hunt for 3 to 9 year olds, face painting, stick pony races and the always entertaining children's lead-line race.

Radnor Hunt Club is once again the presenting sponsor and welcomes all race goers to their pavilion. More than a dozen items will be raffled off, including
a one-week stay for two at an oceanfront deluxe condo in Kauai, Hawaii, a painting by equine artist John Redmond and a bronze by Carrie Quaid.
